From the moment we pulled up to this place we got a bad feeling. It was our first time at this range and we had heard mostly good things. signs were not posted well about where to park and enter into their gun shop, which is whatever. We parked on the other side of the gun shop and started walking around the building to find the door. On the way we stopped and asked the range officer where to go and he looked at us like we were idiots. We get into the gun shop and look around and don't see anyone. We walk to the back of the shop and see a guy, unsure if he worked there or not, and we asked where we pay for the range and get ear plugs, targets, etc. He rolled his eyes and said "at the register", in a very condescending tone. While at the register I asked where a few things were, like targets and all, and he acted like I was an idiot for not already knowing. Then he asks if I had range flags, which I didn't, and he said I had to buy some, which is completely understandable. When I asked where they were he pointed to a display in the middle of the room that had several different things on it and when I looked on the wrong side, he again was very condescending and rude when telling me I was looking in the wrong place. After all of that, we were ready to shoot. We head to the range and we got out on a cease fire so we were able to set our target up right away. We were just shooting a handgun so I started the target at 20 yards. We fired a couple clips and all went well. On the next cease fire, i wanted to move in the target (My wife and I are about to get our concealed carry and I wanted us to practice and feel comfortable shooting at 21 feet) and the range officer flipped out about the target being too close. He said that wasn't allowed. I very politely asked for clarification about the distance for the CCDW test and he agreed it was 21' but rather than just say we couldn't have it in that close, which doesn't make sense since that's what the test requires and they typically administer the testes on this very range, he said "any idiot with a rock can hit that target." My wife and I are both fairly new shooters. My wife is slowy getting more comfortable with shooting. It was not only rude but extremely unhelpful for this rude, grumpy old man to tell us that we were idiots if we couldn't hit the target at 21'. I'm sure we could, but we came here to practice. Now my wife is pretty much afraid to take the CCDW class because she didnt have a chance to practice at that distance. Thanks Grumpy old man. I have never been to a range with such strict rules that honestly don't help anyone. The whole cease fire every 30 minutes makes sense when you have 20+ people on the range, but not where there are only 5. There was a point where all 5 of us (another couple, and a gun by himself) were not shooting and waiting until the range officer called a cease fire, and one guy went and asked if we could call cease fire early because we were all ready to adjust our targets, and he spewed out some BS about having to wait until the 30 minute mark. This place is seriously such a joke. Finally when we were done, he rushed over as I was packing up my gun freaking out that I shouldn't touch my gun during a cease fire. Like come on man! My wife and I will not be going back. I understand it is the cheapest range around, and thats cool and all, but I would pay double, even triple somewhere else just out of principal. You don't treat people like they are stupid. Neither of us were pretending to be experts on guns, in fact we said we were fairly new at this, but still they acted like we were idiots. So overall, if you are a gun expert and dont mind rude, condescending jerks, then I am sure you will like this place especially for the price. If you want to be treated like a human being, go somewhere else, anywhere else. We had planned on taking our CCDW class here in a couple weeks, but now there...

I've come here a couple times, bought firearms, ammo, heck even red dots. The price's are fantastic and the staff inside are wonderful. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is the fact that one of the range officers was rude'r than manure. Don't know his name but he straight made my blood boil. Me a friend and another group where shooting next to each other. And if anyone has ever been to a southern range and sat right next to someone u tend to start to talk to one another. Cease fire was called, "CEASE FIRE, CEASE FIRE, DROP YOU MAGS, INSERT YOUR CHAMBER FLAGS, AND STEP AWAY FROM THE FIRE LINE" mind you we've been talking to this group since we got here. Everyone is still getting there things settled at the fireing line and all the sudden 5 seconds after calling cease fire, they quietly started announcing things. (Good job guys its as if im not wearing hearing protection u suddenly wanna talk like my grandmother into the mic) Mind you EVERYONE in this range is still talking as they where before. This "nice" gentleman comes up to us and just us and tells us to shut up, listen, and pay attention, I said "to what dude I don't hear anything." The gentleman on the mic thankfully started to speak louder after realizing that yes he was a tad to soft spoken. I heard everything he said after that and so did my friend. But After this though i wanted to just leave. So we grab our targets come back behind the firing line like they asked us to and waited. Once everyone was back my friend kindly asked if it was OK for us to pack. This gentleman then sarcastically says "you shouldve been listening to what was said" even though we saw other groups packing and leaving. Prompting my friend to ask that question 🤦‍♂️. I deal with this stuff at work. I don't wanna deal with it at a establishment I come to, to have some fun and blow off some steam. from this point forward I'm going to look to see if this range officer is on duty and If so I'm renting a private lane or avoiding the...

Today was my first and last time going to this range. Starting with the positive... it is only $10 for a all day range pass.

Now on to the negative. The prices for anything inside the shop are beyond over priced. anyone with access to google can find guns, ammo, accessories, anything to do with shooting for 25-50% less at another retailer.

The range staff seem to think they are "the range gods. They speak as if you are uneducated about weapon safety. ( I'm a retired combat veteran) so I know how to safely handle my weapons. I understand that this is a privately owned range, and they have the liberty to set whatever rules they want to. but threatening to boot you from the range because you weren't standing on the magic orange line? lets be realistic... they yelled at my wife like she was a child because she was standing an inch past the magic protective yellow line when they called cease fire.

The shooting tables are very close together, as I was hit with hot brass from the guy shooting an M-1 next to me, they are also very low to the ground. If you've ever had a hot ejected casing go down your shirt, you'll understand.

The range boss (knowing that he has little to no brains of his own) seems to be on a power trip. Yelling with his microphone at you like your stupid. Some advice for people who want to go here... Don't step over the magic painted lines in the range. Don't stand too close to the range boss.. he is currently boycotting the use of dental hygiene supplies. Don't attempt to have a logical, or friendly conversation with the range staff. Their combined intelligence is as much as you could expect from inbreed, sister-screwing, circle-jerk hero, retarded, rednecks. You'll get farther arguing with the wind.

Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to have an enjoyable time. Paying 10X as much at another range is better than being treated the way this place...
