Martina's Alterations / Fashion Designer — Local services in West Point

I bought a dress online for a military ball, knowing it would need alterations. I was drawn to Martina's website by the number of positive reviews. I sent her a text and she very promptly responded. She gave me directions to her business, which she runs out of her home, and I took my dress over. She had me try it on and measure the hem line where I wanted it. I also asked her to take in the bust of the dress a little, which she also measured for as well. She asked when I would need the alterations finished by and I told her. Fast forward a week and she had my dress finished. The alterations are exactly what I wanted. Martina is a very hard and dedicated worker. She is very aware of what her clients wants and wishes are and she works long hours to get those wishes fulfilled. (She mentioned she was doing alterations to a wedding dress for another client that needed her dress much sooner than expected. Martina worked from 3 AM through the day to make sure the bride had the dress of her dreams.) I'm visiting from out-of-state and I bought a pair of jeans but they were too long. So I did what any tech savvy person would do, I jumped online and googled "alterations near me."

Martina's Alterations was one of the first names to pop-up on my screen. After finder her number, I texted her and told her my situation. She must have responded within 15 mins. She told me I could drop them off in the drop-off box (which was super convenient) or I could come by after 4p. And that's exactly what I did.

After giving her the jeans, the next day I went back, picked them up and they were perfect. I asked for "original hem," and everything worked out great!! I swear they don't even look like they were hemmed. Martina is amazing. I highly recommend and will be going back if I decide to buy...

Martina was lovely to work with. She works quickly, charges reasonably, and produces a professional product. I brought her a bridesmaid dress that was too baggy for me, and she fitted it to my body perfectly! The lining had to be taken out, the bust and waist taken in, and the whole thing put back together. I thought she was going to have to sew over the pockets to make it work, but she didn’t! You can’t even tell the dress was adjusted by the way she did it. She had it finished and ready to be picked up the next day! I had to wait until the day after she finished because she was working late on other projects and with other customers, but I was so impressed with how quickly she reworked it! And she even let me come after hours to pick it up. I am so excited...
