Store Here Self Storage — Local services in West Point

We were looking to downsize our storage unit since we did not need as much storage anymore. Resha was so nice to be on the lookout for a smaller unit when it became available and to contact us. She made us aware of a special they were having that saved us some money and we got the storage size unit that we needed. She throughly explained everything to us and made our move easier than it would have been. The new storage was right around the corner from our old unit and that really helped us a lot. It saved us a lot of time when we moved into the new unit. We appreciate so much Resha putting forth the extra effort to help us find the storage unit that we needed. If there were more employees out there who really cared about their customers like Resha does it would make the storage process so much easier and that would result in happy customers. This facility has not had an operational gate since July. They are not providing the secured self storage service for my RV that I pay for. I emailed them on August 21 to report this issue with no response. Due to no response, I went to the office approximately 2 weeks later where I was told it would be repaired the next week. I requested that they please notify customers when the gate is nonoperational so that I can check my RV.

I emailed again on November 6 about the non-operational gate, after I used my RV that weekend and the gate was wide open again. I did not receive a response until I emailed corporate customer service the next day. I was told by Derek that he is a temporary worker, the manager is out for weeks, and the gate hasn't worked in the weeks he has been there and won't be fixed for a "few more weeks".

Based on the lack of an operable gate for many months and lack of communication about this problem from this facility, I would...

Outstanding experience with Resha (the manager)…she helped me on several occasions to lease a covered RV spot, and she was patient and super helpful in getting me the right one. She also offered the best price in the Opelika AL area, especially for covered parking! In addition her husband gave me a lesson in parking a 30’ 5th wheel on site (covered parking is very accessible with plenty of turning room). Resha and her team are incredible, the location is very secure and super clean! Highly recommend considering this location even if it is a little bit farther than you might want - it is worth the great service and friendly nature of everyone associated.
