Terrible TERRIBLE customer service via the contact center. Local agents are super nice and efficient. Any time I have ever spoken with anyone at their contact center, they sound like they hate their job. They don't have a clue as to what's going on at THEIR company. They transfer you from agent to agent without offering any help. They just each want you off their phone. Excessive background noise! Noise cancelling headsets is definitely a good investment at the contact center. I work from home and need my internet to work and if it's not working I need someone to be able to come resolve the issue in an acceptable amount of time. I dont like being transferred like a yard stick in a 4x4 when I call for help. I don't like being cut off in the middle of expressing myself... being able to effectively assist customers does require a good listener and an empathetic ear. If I call to speak to your business department I DEFINITELY expect a higher level of service and adequacy bc I'm essentially choosing to do business with you and trusting you to provide a reliable service in exchange for the money I work extremely hard to maintain bc I'm not only using my internet for my work at home position. I'm also a business owner, online student and a homeschool mom. I see most of your reviews are extremely low so I assume you don't care. Take heed to these reviews though, because your lack of compassion for the people that give you a way to feed your family will surely cause this business to resolve it's own issues. I'm going to Spectrum. Your sales people tried talking me out of upgrading my service in every aspect before even listening to my needs. Why open a business that resolves an issue for consumers if you don't even care about how well it works? That's just setting yourself up...
Read moreThis company is the absolute worst internet service provider in the entire country. They show up and do not fix the problem at all. They connect their laptop to the router and pull up the wow home page (which is what there laptop are programmed to do) and say the problem is fixed but when you they try to go to a different site in front of you and the site that they go to still doesn't pull up, they then try and blame it on the site and say something is wrong with them. Examples of this, I had a guy come out and say it was google that the problem was with. THE MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION THAT'S MAIN JOB IS TO PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY WORKING INTERNET BROWSER FOR EVERYDAY, EVERY HOUR PURPOSE ISN'T DOING THERE JOB??? Yea right... I recently moved to a new area and wanted to sign up with them since their prices were lower, scheduled an install and everything to be in the morning. Two hours past my scheduled time I tried to call, but the store is shut down, and the service line is a joke. I tried to use the live chat but they closed it before helping me. After about an hour and half I finally got someone who could help me on the phone and she was confused as to why no one showed up as well. She later came back and told me that they randomly canceled my install without telling me, she asked to speak with their supervisor and they wouldn't let her. THEY JUST DECIDED THEY DIDN'T WANT TO COME OUT AND NEVER LET ME KNOW!!!!! Needless to say Spectrum earned a new customer that day. Guess I know why they are...
