ACCUSED OF STEALING ICE THEN ASSULTED!!!! I asked to put water in my water bottle so my 12 week old puppy could have a drink Mrs. Lee said no. I asked if there was a sink or anything she said no very harshly! So I thanked her and left. I was getting in my car and she came running from the back entrance screaming at me yelling I had to pay for the ice I took. At first I was confused because I didn't get anything. Then I realised there was a little ice left in my water bottle. I showed her the water bottle and asked her if this is what her ice looked like. She obviously knew she was wrong at that point in time. But she continued to yell at me in another language told someone else in the parking lot to call the the police then pushed me with both hands on my chest, I almost fell to the ground. I used to really enjoy going to Lee's Market. But I'd say in the last year or two I have found it to be rather tense at times and also uncomfortable. While other times it is most enjoyable. Mind you, I have been going there since they first opened over where Penny Pinchers is now in the Food lines bldg. I remember when they got this bldg and spot and since until the present. They both have worked hard to have it and keep going. But I would give five stars if the overall attitude we're improved. I would actually give it a 2 star as it is. I love you, Mrs Lee. This place is a great place to catch up on your neighbors and while there you can get that one or two items you forgot about at the larger grocery store and ms.lee is more then just a quick stop for milk or maybe that Friday after work beer or liquor and cigarettes she's like an icon for the one's that grew up in west richland brotherhood area.. I was employed by the family a few years ago and I was amazed to find out that she's been serving her patrons for in a few families 3 generations strong..and maybe while there you will have a chance to get that winning lottery ticket or simply catch a rainbow in the parking lot like I did...
