Hershberger Heritage Farm — Local services in West Rockhill

We have been purchasing our meat and eggs from Hershberger Heritage Farm for over 2 years and are so impressed with the quality, flavor, and variety. During the summer months, we join the CSA by buying a prepaid gift card and we make weekly selections at Blooming Glen Farm. Nathan is great about making recommendations for cuts of beef and pork that work well for grilling, crockpot meals, etc. We purchased our Thanksgiving turkey from Hershberger this year and our guests raved about the flavor. During the fall/winter months, we get bi-weekly Berger Box deliveries with a variety of chicken, pork, and beef to try...as well as the best eggs you will find! We enjoy the convenience of having the highest quality, LOCAL, pastured and grass-fed proteins delivered to our doorstep. As a Certified Health Coach, I know that the quality of the meat and eggs we feed our families is vitally important. We are so lucky to have a farm with such high standards in our local community. We have purchased meat from the farm several times and just signed up for the new "Berger Box" plan. We love it! The quality of the meat is unsurpassed and the owners are terrific people. Super nice and very helpful. The meat is organic and comes from animals that are raised by rigorous and ethical standards. We were introduced to Hershbergers by friends of ours (cookbook authors and Paleo aficionados) who swear by the Berger Boxes...they made us believers too! Not only was the meat fresh and delicious, but the owners have been fantastic with helping to pick out just the perfect amount for what we need. The prices are reasonable to what you would find in the store, but the quality is top-notch. The eggs are insanely delicious, and my girls absolutely love visiting the farm.
