Grew up near Amish Country (Holmes County, Ohio) and still have a longing for the place which is difficult since it is over 200 miles away. This area of Adams County provides a decent substitute for some of the attractions that you would find in Berlin, Walnut Creek, or Kidron.

Miller's appears to have a fairly large selection of Amish made solid wood furniture, which is so much higher quality then the stuff you find in your more traditional furniture stores in suburbia. Miller's bakery in a smaller building in the complex is absolutely mouthwatering. There are many different items they sell and it is fun to visit their property. Everything from groceries and non-perishables to a wonderful deli. Then a bakery, with the most amazing fried pies, donuts and even turnovers. On the other side of the property is outdoor furniture (made with composite material vs. wood) which will last me much longer. Then indoor furniture with some of the most amazing carpentry and styles and so very well finished and a level of vintage art that can rock your mind. This place is great. Not only is their freshly baked in house everyday goods delightful, and their furniture some of the best dreamworthy furniture around, they also build sheds, chicken enclosures, rabbit enclosures, tiny houses, etc. My personal favorite is their store that they have there that has the restaurant in it. The items may be close to being outdated or not far out of the range, but the majority of the time they're way cheaper than what you could get in a store like Wal-Mart, and even if the items are slightly outdated, they're still good. There's also items in there that you'd find for different cultures and backgrounds you'd never find in a store...
