I live in NY and wanted to send flowers to my grandmother in NJ for Mother's Day. After searching through numerous florist shops to find one I liked I decided to go with Wildflowers of Princeton Junction. My grandmother received the flowers, however, they do not look like what I ordered. I called the shop to complain and the gentleman who answered hid behind the excuse of COVID for the reason the arrangement was so different, defending the operation of the 70-employee shop having to take extreme precautions amidst the virus and as a result the arrangement was not the same. He repeatedly accused me of "not understanding the severity of the virus" when in fact I do understand quite well having lost my brother to the virus - extremely insensitive!! It is not that I do not understand the severity of this pandemic, it is that I understand the virus negatively impacted their flower supply and as a buyer trying to support a local business I expected a courtesy call to let me know my product will look vastly different and some sort of compensation offered for that change. We're not talking about switching one flower out for another, we're talking about omitting certain flowers entirely, putting in new flowers of a different color that do not match the color scheme of the original bouquet, the arrangement not being full like the picture and the bouquet coming in a a different vase than what was shown (the vase was a deciding factor in my purchase of this particular arrangement). All I expected was a simple call to let me know it was going to be different and instead I got a defensive, ego-insulted and condescending employee who talked to me like I lived under a rock. Oh, and also, he couldn't answer my question regarding why there was a $15 wire fee added to the transaction...he played dumb and told me he couldn't see that on my order when in fact I was looking directly at it on the receipt. Before he ended our conversation by hanging up on me - which, by the way, I heard the other employees telling him to do - he prided the business on the fact that Yelp had no negative reviews...but hey, I guess there's a first...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreYou guys were very good!! The arrangement was excellent. But more than that, my sister in law is disabled and in a wheelchair. The man who delivered the flowers to her navigated through the maze of elevators and brought them up to her floor, brought them inside, took off the packaging, and put the card into her hands. Then he had to navigate through the maze again to get out. Then he called me to tell that she got her arrangement. He alone made it worthwhile. I will use them again and I will request him to deliver the flowers. My sister in law is new to the area so I'm trying out different florists to see who does it best. The first florist that I tried didn't even send her what I ordered and it was smaller than advertised. And worse they just left them on the floor by her so she had to ask a neighbor to get them and bring them in for her. Wildflowers is head and shoulders...
