It was a Garth Brooks Covid Concert!!! Since no one can gather in arena's, stadium's, and such for concerts, due to the Corona Virus, some of our Greatest Artist's (Garth Brooks, George Strait, ETC) are keeping our hopes up and our love of their music in our hearts by doing concerts via video editing, and having Drive In Movie Theaters across the country holding the concerts!!! Some of the theaters are trying to price gouge up to $2,000 a ticket per car!!! We got lucky!!! Pride's Corner was WONDERFUL!!! They charged $100 a ticket per car, up to 6 people in the car!!! We are DEFINITELY planning on going to more concerts, and have even decided to keep up with what movies are showing!!! Since I started suffering with my Severe Daily Migraines 3yrs ago, I've been basically bed ridden and sleeping almost 24-7. I can't go out during the day, to anything loud, our anything with excessive florescent lights (everything that cause and make Migraines worse, wearing sunglasses or not). The drive in is perfect!! So now I can start spending time with my best friend and more time with my...
Read moreThe drive-in wasnât packed at all when I went. They have a building in the back where you can get snacks and drinksâ didnât go in but it looked well establishedâ and they open up almost an hour early to allow you to find a spot and set-up anything you brought along. Itâs very quiet outside (even on a Friday night), the screen is big, and the grass is kept low so thereâs not as much a worry for ticks while walking around before the movie.
The downside is that the quality of the picture is not great at the beginning of the movie since they start it just after sundown and its not completely dark yet. It gets much better after about 15min or so to the point you where you donât notice a difference save for really bright scenes where the outline of a panel toward the center of the screen sticks out.
Itâs a cheap movie night for couples and familiesâ about $17 a carâ and you can bring your own food and drinks unlike theaters. All in all the experience is a unique one and heavily nostalgic. If you donât have a comfy car or truck be sure to...
Read moreI been coming here as a kid and always enjoyed it. Now grown and haven't been back for many or so yrs. I decided to come with my kiddos and husband all excited. The price was 30 for 5 persons I gave the attendant 2 20s she handed me our ticket and not my change. Hurrying us along I had asked about the station for the movie to be set on and she told us and hurried us along. Not realizing due to our being hurried. She hadn't given me change until I went to go to the snack bar to grab my kiddos some food. I told the owner who rudely explained it was our fault because we didn't pay attention. I would agree to some responsibility to this but it turned out we weren't the only ones. As I explained what happened, the owner told us we could go enjoy the movie or simply refund us the 30 amd leave. Or if I made secene we'd be kicked out. Sounds pretty sketchy to me. Disappointed đ They would have gotten my meesly money anyway they didn't have to wrip me and others from what I heard from...
