Groff's is our go-to shop. My husband and I have relied on them for most of our maintenance needs for about 3-4 years. We have taken all 3 of our vehicles here for most of our vehicle scheduled maintenance and repairs. Larry is just an amazingly kind, knowledgeable gentleman. He's been very upfront with BOTH of us (he doesn't just speak to my husband about the vehicles, which I appreciate, being a woman). I've read some negative reviews, and although I respect what they have had to say, I just haven't ever seen these gentleman EVER be disrespectful or dismissive to any of their customers, ever, in the In the dozen or so times I've been in the shop. Larry and the crew have told me straight-up when a noise or performance problem isn't something to worry about, and WHY we don't need to worry. They have always been quick to recommend a cheaper fix, or let us know that there's really NO fix needed. Having said that, they've also let us know when another issue might cause issues in the future, but let us know what's going on, and what Larry would do if it were HIS vehicle. I obviously appreciate this mindset in my mechanic.
When I have had major components R&R'ed, the price I've paid has always been lower than the estimate and repaired in a timely fashion. They, of course, will give you a call before before doing something that hasn't been quoted.
The only downside (if you want to call it that) is that they're a smaller, privately-owned shop, and are unable to accept my 2017 Ford Focus' extended warranty through Endurance. Same case with my 2024 Ram 1500's factory warranty. But I still take those vehicles to Larry first, to find out what's likely wrong before I take them to Blaise Alexander or Simmons Rockwell for repairs, just because I value his opinion.
Thanks guys, for always giving me a honest answer, and for keeping my vehicles (and my family...

We called last night and he said he would said someone out this morning to fix it. This morning we called and Larry called my husband and my son everything but a white man and said, it's your tough luck. This is...
