Nashoba Corporation — Local services in Westford

It seemed like a popular paving company so I hired them. Things started going real bad when the job supervisor went on vacation. They put in a path that was crooked by more than 2 feet on end from the house, pitched the surface so that the water completely misses the drain placed to prevent bottom of driveway turning into a sheet of ice. Another contractor looked at the work and said that the mix was rolled too cold and the asphalt separated into thousand of cracks. They came back without my permission and started using propane "flame throwers" that charred the surface and the asphalt started immediately crumbling. They left the edges unfinished too. I think they do commercial work, but for homeowners its a hit or miss. Totally a miss for me now having to go through claims court because owner is real difficult and uncompromising to deal with, and he blamed me for complaining; even though they did not...

I called Nashoba Paving in Westford to receive an estimate for a driveway repave. The woman I spoke with on phone tells me that 'they do not do' Lowell. OK. Phone call ends. The company is based in Westford, less than 10 miles away. So I promptly check their website and they list well over 100 cities/towns throughout Mass/southern NH they travel to, including towns outside of Boston (Newton, Cambridge, etc. ) -- 30-50 miles away. and also list Lowell. OK, Nashoba Paving, I get it. I will gladly spend my $10,000 with a paving company who will appreciate my business. If the woman who answered the phone is any reflection of the company, then I definitely dodged a bullet dealing with this company, Oh, and by the way Nashoba Paving, I will surely spread the word about 'not...

not sure why they have 2 different names, nashoba paving company and nashoba corporation, but i put a review on the other one and will be putting one here, too. look at these micro fractures. these are not good and are apparently theyre "checking" or from the operator hitting it with vibratory roller to hard, and to soon. these will only get worse. my fault for going with the lowest bidder. if i had noticed these when they put the driveway in, they wouldve been ripping it up and replacing that whole section.
