I thought I would tell all of you how great Rovers North is as a company, and how they treat their customers. They STINK! I bought a $1000 of Land Rover lift kit parts from Rovers North. When I placed the order, I was told that part of the parts to complete the order were backordered. They said they would let me know when the parts had been shipped out. I went on a 4 day fishing trip and wasn't really worried about the parts arriving since I had not heard from Rovers North. When I arrived home on Monday everything was as I left it. I was clearing out my spam mail and there was an email from FedEx stating the parts had been delivered at 2:39 p.m. on Friday. There were no packages in front of my door. I checked with the office of my apartment complex where I live... No, they had not seen them. I check with my neighbors, some reported seeing it up until Sunday morning, but it was not in front of my door by Sunday afternoon. I called Rovers North about the shipment, and it had been sent. FedEx reported that it had been delivered, but Rovers North had not required a signature for the delivery. When I called Rovers North back, and how they were going to fix it. They said that as far as they were concerned the matter was closed, because FedEx had delivered it. I next called my credit union to dispute the charge on the card, since I didn't receive. They agreed that I had a strong case to dispute the charge. They looked for the charge, and I had not been charged for anything that had been shipped. They had sent the merchandise out without charging me for it. I called Rovers North back one more time to see if they would even consider making it right on my behalf. They again stated that the matter was closed, and if I wanted to try and recover the loss to file a claim on my renters insurance. I then told them that I would not have to do that since they had failed to charge me for the products, and I had canceled the card, and a new one was on its way. I thanked them for their time, but said I would let everyone I know how they treat their customers. The take away is this: There was no communication on their part to inform me the backordered parts were back in stock and they were/had shipped. They only require a signature on shipments with a pretax value of $1000. Mine was $999.60 plus freight. They did not provide any type of insurance on the shipment. If there was anything wrong, file a claim on your homeowners insurance. There was no accountability on their behalf that any error had been made on their part. it all fell on me for not being home when they delivered the shipment, a shipment that I was not expecting or tracking. As a consumer I have a choice of where I spend my money, and I will never spend another dime with them, I will go anyplace else,...

Originally I was comparing the selection and pricing from the UK with the offerings of two other well known Land Rover suppliers. The other US based suppliers were either 10x the cost or failed to respond to both email and phone calls. I rebuilt my top end using parts sourced from the UK before I found Rovers North. Not only have the prices been completely reasonable, I'm finding the selection to be well curated and exactly what I need. Their website is poorly organized, and their ordering system over the phone has on occasion taken up to two and a half hours. ROB is the guy that i am pointing the finger towards the most. Ive had payments bounce to them and them only. using multiple cards, waiting days sometimes weeks for updates.
