My Friend and I fished with Sam in October 2021. Plan was for peacock bass and largemouth bass. We got those as well as some Oscars. My friend caught a small alligator gar as well. We met at a launch ramp roughly halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Naples. He already had picked up bait for us before he met us. His boat is a 18 foot center console and he could operate his bow trolling motor remotely from stern, allowing more room to fish in the bow. We fished shiners for our six hour trip and Sam was great at baiting our hooks and unhooking fish for us. If there was a snag, Sam would get it off for us. Sam did not fish. There was great service on this guide trip. In addition, he was personable and friendly without being too serious. He brought drinks for us, and even shared a beer with us that he provided at the end of our trip. I would definitely fish with him again. I would note that during this time of year, it did feel quite hot, so if that is an issue for you, then consider a four hour trip instead of a...

Could not have asked for a better fishing trip!We are from out of state and only in town for a couple days. We called him up to see if he had availability for the next morning, sure enough he did and we agreed to meet in the everglades at 730am. All we had to bring with us was a fishing license. We showed up at 715am and he already had the boat in the water ready to go. We climbed aboard and we were off. After a little boat ride he got us rigged up with live bait and no sooner than that first bobber settled on the water it was going back under. Fish on! It continued for the rest the morning, bringing in mainly Oscar's, large mouths and peacock bass. Captain Sam was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He even turned us on to some local places to eat and golf for after the charter. 10/10...

My fiancé and I had a great day fishing Markham Park with Sam. We hit several different spots, caught fish pretty quickly after first couple casts and ended up with a good amount of fish on the day…mostly Peacock bass which are a lot of fun to catch, and also got a snakehead and an Oscar. Booking and communication was great and Sam is a good dude to be on the water with cracking jokes and telling stories. He does all the work baiting hooks and all that so you can just enjoy sit back and fishing. I’ll definitely give Sam a shout next time we are around and go back out. For fresh water fishing he’s the way to go the guy knows...
