I have known Sara, Yoel and many of the staff that work for Sara’s cooking and catering for an excess of 6 years now. In multiple times that I have use their service as well as work for them I have never once had a bad experience. Their food is absolutely out of this world. The range of dishes and the ethnic backgrounds from which they originate are self evident, well represented and delicious. They work very hard day and night, to ensure that they are meeting the needs of their customers with the highest degree of quality and professionalism that is needed in the food service industry. They not only take customer relations very seriously, but also their duty to the public to provide high-quality fantastic food, that is safe for consumption and cater to those with various needs (allergens, vegan, vegetarian, etc.). This company is the life blood of several individuals and of their family. Sara was recommended by our wedding planner (Once Upon a Time Wedding Services) and we’re so glad she was. Sara, Jackie, and the rest of the staff made our wedding day so special and tasty. The tasting was incredible and ever since we couldn’t wait for our wedding day to taste the delicious food again. They worked with us as our guest list number changed, worked with our rental companies to help us get everything we needed within our budget, and made the day-of great by making sure we actually ate (crucial) and that there was enough food at both cocktail hour and dinner to make sure everyone had enough food to power them through our epic reception dance party. They were also so instrumental in making sure tables were set up, the flow of the reception and cocktail hour was right, and that the night went off without a hitch. I didn’t realize all the tasks a good caterer does to make a wedding successful and Sara’s did SO MUCH for our special day. One other note - Sara’s worked with us for a unique (read: not the standard wedding fare) menu that I’ve seen at no other weddings - truly unique and personalized to our tastes. I reached out to Sara’s because I had a large family gathering planned for Christmas and out of everyone there were several different dietary preferences, including some vegans. Vegetarians are easy, but not vegans.

I worked with Alana through the process and she helped me settle on a great menu. They managed to create vegan side dishes that were amazing. Even the meat eaters thought they were delicious. Surprisingly, I think my favorite dish was a vegan one. They made a vegan pumpkin lasagna and it got eaten faster than the turkey.

Delivery was right on time and everything was amazing. Turkey, traditional stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes with parsnips and butternut squash, vegan mashed potatoes (amazing! you would have never guessed they were vegan!), vegan green bean casserole, vegan creamed spinach, and of course that lasagna.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the cost. I hadn’t had anything catered this way before, so I didn’t know what to expect. They were very reasonable.
