Woodyard Market — Local services in Westphalia

We miss the old Woodyard market which closes around 7pm and respected our community. Now we have new owners who doesn’t GIVE A AN with Bright neon lights 24/7 in a residential majority black neighborhood less than a mile from elementary and middle school, and homes a few feet nearby. Children who goes to the store will see all these vape products and curiosity sets in. We don’t need vape and wine 24/7 and half naked pictures on the glass in our neighborhood. We pay our taxes to come home to peace and quiet for homes costing over $500k. Even the vape store on Crain Highway closes around 1000 pm. These new owners don’t live around here. Why don’t they Put it in their neighborhood!!Folks have already called the police about people hanging out and disturbances late at night. Crime will go up!!!They bring nothing to our community. This was the best place to get breakfast hands down but since they’ve gotten bought the food has dramatically gone Down. The home fries I got on two different occasions tasted like straight salt to the point I was guzzling water after each bite. The eggs.. if I wanted a slice of cheese just slapped on the top of my plate I would have just made my own. I miss the two ladies that used to be in the kitchen. This is a small market that serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches.Do not expect any pleasantries, business transactions only. My sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was ok. They do sell beer ( no craft beer) and other items that you might expect in a small market. It is a busy intersection, so whatch out for the vehicles cutting through the parking lot. I was going to take a picture of the inside, but I don't think that the two ladies inside would have liked that idea.
