Emerald Mountain Country Store — Local services in Wetumpka

I stopped here for the very 1st time and I do hope I never have to return. Though the women were friendly, I don't think they were being honest about the bathroom being out of order because I think that both of them should have known the bathroom was out of order, especially if you work there... One of them started to tell me which direction the bathroom was and the other one stated that it was "out of order". They also said they only have one bathroom for both men and women. They looked at each other as if now they're going to be on the same page about the bathroom being out of order and sent me somewhere else, to the Dollar General. So since the one who did not know quote on quote that the bathroom was not working, should she not have known what particular about the bathroom was not working? She eventually guessed and told me that the handle wasn't working but if she never knew that the bathroom was out of order then how did she know what was broken? I am a person of color, female. I felt that was the issue. Other than that, good experience. If the bathroom is truly out of order, put a sign on the door in the front that publicly states to every person that comes into the building that the bathroom is out of order. That way someone cannot take...

This is the absolute worst store ever. It uses to be awesome but the new owners have ruined this store. I have used this store every day for 20 years but I will not spend one more dime or min of my time there. They are rude , jack the prices up higher than other stores with same item, food is horrible, got food poison twice. Smells like raw sewage half the time. Cannot communicate English hardly. Just an all around bad stop. I would avoid this place...

These new owners are ridiculous as a new country store I have been coming there for years I parked my vehicle there for not even 6 hours due to my vehicles acting up came back to pick up my vehicle and they have a vehicle tow due to that there were repaving the parking lot when they put no signs up saying that not to told I think I'll repay the parking lot and now I got to pay over $200 to get my vehicle...
