We were treated like trash. Went thru check-out lane with someone named Eva. We were getting groceries for my disabled 78 year old mom using her Lonestar card the cashier Eva didn't even talk to us and when I scanned my mom's card it wouldn't work. She kept telling me to swipe the card. She didn't explain why it wouldn't work and basically, she humiliated my husband and I. She offered nothing, no help. She made it known that I was using a Lonestar card. We finally just paid it with our debit card but what if it was a person trying to feed their babies and have no choice but to use it for their kids. Normal things that you would usually be able to find at any other HEB in most cities you cannot find here. Again, I know the selection has a lot to do with the clientele surrounding the area but I know it shouldnāt be as bad as it is. The checkout lines are usually always painfully long and there are no self checkouts either. The aisles are pathetically narrow making navigation throughout the store a nightmare when itās busy.
