Magnepan Inc — Local services in White Bear Lake

My experience with Magnepan was terrible. After only 150 hours of use in a temperature-controlled home, one LRS+ speaker developed a vibrating noise. I confirmed the issue across different rooms and systems. Magnepan dismissed my concerns, insisted on a pointless flashlight inspection, and warned I'd be charged if they "found nothing." They later admitted there was "significant tenting"—a defect that causes exactly the kind of noise I reported—but still refused to fix it. To make matters worse, they charged me $140 to ship the defective speaker back without doing any repairs. Zero accountability, amateur customer service. I’ll never buy another Magnepan...

Picked up a pair of LRS in 2021. Best speakers I've ever heard. A little light on the bass, but what bass you hear is tight and accurate. For vinyl listeners, you will hear things you never knew existed within tracks. Absolutely incredible accuracy and reproduction. They get very loud and pull plenty of current from my 2010 vintage Sony receiver. As for longevity, time will tell, seems like a delicate design that may not handle...

I posted most if the pictures they treated me great but I also own 3 pair of their high end models timpani iv models pair of 3.6r and a pair of 3.7i speakers. But may I add that every pair I've owned have been repaired 1 or 2x by now they don't last longer then 3 years at a time before they start to separate from the...
