Is zero stars an option? I have lived in this area for 3 years now and only about a mile from this store. I have never had a good experiance here and have been wanting to complain but have kept it to myself until today. This store is always absolutely disgusting and dirty. The employees are lazy and rude to customers. They are constantly on there phones behind the counter, not properly trained and in the three years I have been here not once have I seen the second register opened, even with a line wrapping around the entire store. The manager just sits in the office and does nothing. They are always out of commonly used items. I have seen more than once every container of milk for sale with a past due selling date. The coffee machine are disgusting and always say they are in need of cleaning. Multiple times I have had to clean out the grinds tray myself just to get them to work. Today was the last straw. I went in for just a cup of coffee, some BC powders and a couple packs of water that are 2 for $9. The employee range up my stuff and I paid for the water with my EBT card, then noticed the price was more than it should be. I asked the employee what was going on and she said she was new and didnt know. My EBT card was charged $13 for the water which should have been $9. The new employee then said she rang it up like she was trained too. I then went and got the sign from outside showing her its 2 for $9. After seeing the sign, she said thats just for rewards members, which I am. However, I am an autistic person so I dont always remember to swipe my rewards card. I told her I was a member but she said there was nothing she could do since it already proccessed on my EBT card, but she never even asked about my rewards card before ringing me up, like every other cashier does. So since she insisted nothing could be done, I suggested that she just let me have my coffee for free, which was less than the difference of the price of the water, and in the past have been given my coffee for free multiple times because I was a regular. She refused, got rude with me and tried to throw me out of the store. At that point, my Autism got the best of me and she recieved a dose of autistic verbal rage. She finally allowed me to pay for my things but I was still overcharged for the water, simply because she didnt do her job by asking me if I had a rewards card. She refused any responsibilty in the matter and then said I was banned from the store! Good riddance! I will never go there again and suggest the same for everyone. This is the worst run Scotchman store I have ever seen. I am complaining to higher management but doubt any...
Read moreHave you just fled this store in a panic and are thankful to be safely locked in your car after an interaction with the staff at this location? You are not alone and you are probably not overreacting. I rarely leave negative reviews because I think everyone has an off day from time to time and I don’t like putting businesses on blast if it’s a one off… at this store it’s not a one off. I had avoided it for six months but went in for a cold coke and a treat and ended up running out while the cashier screamed obscenities at me for pointing out a box of items that had expired over a year earlier. She was actually using the F word in a crowded store. I don’t know if this location is privately owned or a corporate store but I would love to see it cleaned up and properly staffed….I’m not holding my breath though and if you have a choice, choose to stop...
