Wilson Estate Vineyards — Local services in White Oak Township

We decided to attend the Grand Opening at Wilson Estate Vineyards on Saturday afternoon and it did not disappoint. Despite the ominous rain clouds, the weather held out for us. The wine was delicious! The crowd was diverse and a lot of fun. Met some new people. We don't have a LOT of fun stuff to do in this area so that was nice. It took us about 25 min. to arrive from Chelsea and since none of us had ever traveled those road to get there, that just added to the adventure. Games for children, live music, several food trucks, GREAT parking and nice touch to offer Military and Veterans preferred parking. The facilities were clean and easy to enjoy. My only suggestion would be for the food trucks to consider ways they can shorten the lines and have more food 'ready to go'. I know that's not easy, but there must be a better way. I think this venue is going to offer the area a really nice setting for weddings, parties, company gatherings, etc. Jerry (?) did a really nice job getting the nearby businesses involved and it was fun to meet them and see their support for this new business. We had such a lovely visit at the winery opening this weekend. The mother of one of my very oldest friends grew up in this farm before it was sold many years ago. We were able to visit it on her 80th birthday weekend. Such a gorgeous day to be at such a lovely place! Jerry is a great owner and was around all afternoon.
