Mouth Cemetery — Local services in White River Township

Absolutely stunning cemetery. New graves as well as the oldest in all of white lake. There was a shocking amount of young children buried here. The whole cemetery is clean and well cared for. There is a beautiful trail next to it. Make sure to bring an offering for the stump. So many touching things left behind by visitors. The place closes at dusk and you have to go down a pretty rough dirt road to get there so I recommend going on a good weather day and before evening... although I am sure night time brings it's own adventure. Mouth Cemetery (West of Montague, MI) is in a heavily wooded area. Directions: From Old Channel Trail to Indian Bay just past the old Mouth School (now Christ the Rock Church), turn on Sunset Lane almost to the end, entrance on the left with sign marking the entrance.
