Food Lion — Local services in White Sulphur Springs

I have used food lion several times to cash printed checks from a business /company and payroll checks. I've never had any issues until my last visit sometime this past week. The older lady working the checkout had no issue with letting me cash it and I had signed the back and had a paper copy of my driver's license from the DMV and I'm waiting on my official hard copy to come in the mail. She said food lion vs ant accept the paper copy of my driver's license which is supposed to be an official document until I'll received mine in the mail. Idk I just didn't appreciate the way this employee spoke to me in front of other customers and ripped up my paper identification and trashed it saying it wasn't valid for identification purposes. Food Lion has ridiculous prices on everything they sell and I don't feel that they have a very good selection of meats and other common items most stores carry in stock. Anymore since they did the remodel I feel that food line is only good if you're looking to run in and grab a few junk items like potato chips or Frozen meals but not for actual groceries that you would need to fix a meal with. Did you have a red box at their location and have public restrooms that are generally pretty clean compared to most that are still available during this covid-19 outbreak to the General public. Their deli is not the most selective and it is also overpriced in my opinion. I'm guessing that their bakery is also located with their deli and they now have a nice selection of birthday cakes and other baked goods that are usually very tasteful and the price is one there bakery items are about the same as any other...

Lovely clean store with friendly and helpful employees. One gentleman went out of his way to help me find the cranberries. When he did find them, he located me in the store and even brought them to me! The nice young lady who rang me out was super sweet and invited me to come back real soon even though she knew I had traveled a ways to come there. The store is well organized and has lots of choices to choose...

It's lost a lot of variety. Nevertheless, the employees are extremely nice, and the management is very helpful as well. Even with a reduction of stock, it still has a better selection as a whole. Sales in the meat department always beat Kroger, I also think Foodlion carries better quality products than Kroger, IGA, or Walmart, but it's...
