Whiting Store — Local services in Whiting

This was a cool stop on our route. The pizza here is Pretty Great. Possibly the best I have had while traveling. Definitely the best from a roadside stop. This is more than a fuel stop. It's a store with a variety of foods and a deli. They make hot food in house to. I saw a lot of people picking up pizza or other food. The pizza by the slice was self serve. The drink selection was pretty good. Its not far off a popular ATV trail. There was outdoor seating. I believe i saw an indoor seating area to. They had a public restroom The Service was good, everyone was friendly. I would stop here again. We did buy fuel while we were here. Seemed to be decent quality. No issues at all. Very nice...

Ok this is a tough one. I love this store and always have. Unfortunately the problem I had is this: Washington County is big but small so everyone knows everyone. It's not very professional, to me, to go into a store and hear employees talking smack about people who are not there to defend themselves. Awesome little mini-mart/fuel stop with hot and food options, great selection of hot coffee and other essentials. Bathrooms were clean, staff was polite and courteous. The lot was paved/dirt/gravel combination, clean and fairly level. There is room for pretty much any size rig or RV.
