While my wife and I were staying at The White House Inn in Wilmington, I was asking around about a place for Vermont Maple Syrup. Sprague & Sons was recommended however it was a November Sunday morning and no one knew for sure if it was going to be open. So the wife and I made the short drive and glad we did. The owner and his son were both there on that cold November Sunday morning. The owner opened his door to us and we had a great conversation. We left with plenty of large jugs of maple syrup to give to our family. Also bought some of the muffins however when we left, we didn’t get far before we devoured them! We also bought a container of the maple crunchies. Almost a month later, and we enjoy them with vanilla ice cream and Redi Whip! Not sure what we’ll do when we run out?? Maybe take another 14 hour trip to buy more!! :) We can’t wait to go back for more of everything. This place is definitely worth to stop at anytime...
