For a smaller course with 4 par 4's, and the rest par 3's, it is a great place to work on your irons and wedges. There are not too many dangerous hazards around the greens, but there are still several holes where you shoot over or beside water which gives the course some excitement. The bunkers that I have ended up in have been nice and soft sand that gives a great chance to pull off good shots. Some courses I have been to have sand that is like concrete, so this is a definite plus. The greens are fairly sandy and slow though, so judging speed is more important than the line because the greens are generally very flat with little break. The clubhouse is smaller, and could do with a little more options for food between the front and back 9, but the course plays so quickly it isn't all that big of a deal truthfully. My cousin and I live close, so this has become our, "home course," so to speak, and it's affordability has made going golfing a lot easier and accessible. It has a decent practice green, but the driving range could use a little more to aim at to be good. Overall, I enjoy this course for a short day of golf that has good course conditions and a...
Read moreOnly reason gets any stars is because the course is super nice. Had issues with multiple employees now. Showed up at 12:50 last week, a group leaving #1 tee, so I hang out awhile to see if anyone else is getting ready, 1 o'clock and haven't seen another person so go inside to pay and check in and guy says they're booked until 3:40. This is a weekday. Didn't try and find me group to play with, didn't say go ahead real quick before it gets busy. I was like, you're completely booked with foursomes until 3:40? There's literally no one even here getting ready. Do they not want busness? Finally he let me go, after a few holes I look back and there was a threesome and two singles. What a joke. And they have the worst range balls...
Read moreWe love this hidden gem! I started learning/ playing golf here during the COVID era with my husband who played occasionally. The game is frustrating and challenging but has easily become our favorite pastime. We play so often that the membership is a great value and the course is always open. It is very well manicured, the greens keepers work very hard maintaining and improving the grounds just like the big country club courses if not better. The staff is friendly and attentive and strive to make your outing enjoyable. Great clubhouse and place to have group tournaments, too! I am not being paid to leave this review, just my honest...
