Big Level Grocery — Local services in Wiggins

(I’m on my husbands profile) Growing up I spent every summer with my Grandparents who lives about a 2 minute drive from Big Level Grocery. One of my favorite parts of visiting has always been going to get a sandwich here, I don’t know if it’s the love they put into them or what, but they are the best dang sandwiches I’ve ever had! Usually my grandparents would only get the sandwiches whenever we were taking the boat out to the reservoir or going fishing, but anytime I got to pick what we’re eating I’d always choose a Big Level sandwich! We’d also stop by here to get bait for fishing. Family owned, and everyone there is so incredibly kind! If you’re within driving distance, you should definitely give them a try!

Folks are nice and drinks are cold. I ordered the catfish plate for 10.95. The only thing homemade was the fish. The potatoe salad was from a container and so were the baked beans. For that price the potatoe salad and baked beans should have been homemade. The hushpuppies were corn ones and frozen not made from scratch. Like I said the folks are nice and the environment is friendly, just wish more of the food was made...

Nice Mom and Pop store. I only gave 4 stars because I only stopped in to buy a drink, but the owner and I chatted briefly. They have breakfast, lunch, and not sure about dinner. Fresh hamburgers and homemade sandwiches. Weekday hours and Saturday i believe are 6am to 7pm. Sunday noon...
