So the staff in this place followed this disabled veteran grandmother and vintage lover around in the market so much that I started to feel panicked. They did this to my entire family. I also walked up to wait in line to have the pleasure of hearing a lengthy story about thieves in the store being told to the customer in front of me. Ok, so the people in this place are paranoid, but it seemed they paid particular attention to me and my family. When I did finally check out at the next register, tales of shoplifters still being told beside me, I see the military discount sign. I mention it and say I'm a disabled Veteran. Pretty sure there was an eye roll and I was told I'd have to go find something else to purchase to get it. Receipt handed to me with a dirty look. I'm not kidding. I really liked this store that is why it saddens me that I was sold a pair of "Wedgwood" jasper ware wall hangings. They were in a locked cabinet and when I told the sales person I wanted to get them she held them up near the register until I finished shopping before I bought them. Anyways, I get home and inspect the markings on the back and they are not authentic Wedgwood. The markings are that of Arnart imports. Not worth nearly as much. I should have asked to inspect the mark before I bought it but, I figured if you run an antique store you would be aware of this. Also, claiming an item is something it isn't to get more money out of it is wrong. Perhaps it was an honest mistake and the person thought it was Wedgwood but, the markings don't look anything alike.
