I’ve been coming here with my folks since we got our cabin when I was 13, and it’s always been a reliable stop for the basics. They may not have every specialty item, but that’s not what you come here for. You come for the convenience, the friendly faces, and the peace of mind that you’re supporting real people—not some faceless corporate huligans.

Having a local grocery like this is a true time-saver, and honestly, a bit of a treat. Benny's keeps it simple and dependable, and that’s precisely what you want in a neighborhood market.

Unfortunately, this grocery store is the only one truly available to the surrounding residents, without having to make a 20-30 minute trip, so it has managed to maintain it's place over the years, however - it's pretty widely known to have raised it's fair share of concerns - from continually selling food, and meat beyond it's expiration date(s), to being one of the more expensive stores of it's kind, despite the obvious signs of neglect in multiple different areas of the business itself, and it's overall practices. Hopeful that perhaps someday this...

Small, locally-owned grocery store. I'm typically a big supporter of local businesses, but this one in particular has unfortunately, not been very well maintained for a number of years now. It closes around 7 o'clock during the week, earlier on weekends. Could really benefit from some updating and T.L.C. in general. Prices are higher than other local locations, as well. They do however, have a small bakery - and recently added fish...
