Good baseball ball park. Needs a few improvements, however not too bad for young kids. Rains have been caused issues with the creek that flows behind the park but the ground crew has done well keeping it playable.

Went to a classic car show there. Many outstanding vehicles & good concessions too.

  • FOOD SAFETY ISSUES HERE* On September 23rd I purchased food from the consession stand. I found the condiments in the direct sunlight on a 94 degree day. I commented to my family that it's not a good idea. My son grabbed a handful of ketchup packets. When he opened the first one it was like a black tar consistency. I alerted the staff and comments that it should all be on ice. They didn't seem to realize the food safety issue.

In addition, according to the consession stand workers, the rear consession stand near Fields 4, 5 & 6 has no running water. How can you handle and serve food with no running water to wash hands?

Finally, there was no soap in any of the bathrooms at 8:00 a.m. and then again at 11:30 a.m. I suppose this is not on the list of things to maintain....

One star due to all of the food and health safety risks at this...

Facilities need significant upgrades for the caliber of tournament it is being used for. Turf infield or red clay infield would be an improvement over the powder infields. Outfield has very uneven playing surface. Pasture like. Dugouts are small. Temporary fences were cheesy. Concrete vs mulch/dirt would be an improvement in the fan area. So would shade structures. Parking is very limited, but will allow you a nice long walk with your significant other. Noticed it’s in a pretty nice rural neighborhood. Time to spend some money on the facility. Even the locals commented to me on this. I was told “worst facility in the St. Louis area to host a Top Gun Event.” All I’m saying is I’ve been to smaller communities with much nicer facilities. Build it and they will continue to come back. People were very nice. People 5...

Very unprofessional umpiring staff. Head ump smoking near the field (and no smoking sign). Umpires mom on phone with umpire on field calling the play…. Seriously? Umpires dad threatened multiple parents. Pond staff did little to resolve other than threaten the coach with forfeiture prior to second game. Umpires should learn, and without them the kids can’t play; however, counting to 5 is elementary. It shouldn’t be a debate multiple times during a single game. Can’t wait to play at facilities that help the players learn and don’t play the ‘we are short staffed’ excuse as to why umps aren’t held accountable. Still charged the full entry fee… I missed the small print of being threatened by umpires. This is for the kids. Simple common sense shouldn’t be too...
