Conference Point Center — Local services in Williams Bay

Beautiful camp grounds and lots of quiet. Great to visit in fall. Light pollution is low so I got the most in-depth view of the night sky that I remember ever having. If you're into stargazing, bring a pocket telescope. Cabins are not bad and are well heated; beds have old bedsheets or no bedding at all, so I strongly suggest bringing your own bedding or sleeping bag. On the upside, there are pillows on all the beds. No staff to clean the showers every day so there might be some hairs, etc. from other people. The dining hall is decent. Make sure to bring a coffee cup to grab coffee or tea during meal times. A cup is about two dollars if you need to buy from the coffee shop. The little café by The Office is very pleasant and cosy; the view is great. A trail by the lake, next to the water, is perfect for a relaxing walk. The basketball courts and grassy grounds are perfect for playing sports. There's a little enclosed playground for kids...

We hosted a marriage retreat last year and LOVED it! The setting was perfect with Soderquist Lodge located right on the shore of Geneva Lake. Every room in this new lodge had a private bathroom, nautical/Wisconsin decor, comfortable beds and individual A/C units. Best part was the meeting room was located in the same building, along with two great common areas for games or coffee breaks. The meeting room lets out onto a patio area overlooking the water, which was great during break times. The menu was yummy and the staff was all about serving us well. We are booked again for this Fall. Conference Point dates back to 1873 so there are some lovely historically preserved buildings that have character. ...

What a great place to stay for the weekend! The food was excellent all weekend long. We stayed in Soderquist Lodge which was a lovely place. It's bright and airy with big gathering rooms and hotel-like bedrooms. The views over the lake were amazing! The staff does such a great job caring for everyone staying there. You really feel like a special guest. So thankful for the time away in a beautiful location! I've also now stayed at McDonald House. It has two wings with bedrooms. In the middle is a meeting room with a wall of windows overlooking the lake. What a lovely place to stay! Thanks again to the staff who did an amazing job...
