I have to thank Ron for going the extra mile today. He always does and the whole crew does as well. Shopping here for 10 years now and it's always been a great experience, which includes saving money on parts, tools and other items like you would find in the super shops back in the day or a good Pep Boys plus serious OEM and aftermarket parts. I had an M880 military vehicle once, nobody could find a part I needed except for Carquest in Williams, they knew of some military website and ordered what I needed and it was done for $25 and my truck was back on the road. It's the only store of its kind in Williams and the surrounding cities. If you need something they usually have it in stock, if not, they can find out where to get it and it can usually be at their location at 830a or sometime really early in the morning. This used to be a great place. New owner has no personality and doesn't seem to care about local business at all. Prior owner knew that locals had the option of going to Flagstaff and made every effort to keep you from going somewhere else. Our first impression of the new owner has secured the fact that we do all of our business in Flagstaff and recommend to everyone we meet that they do the same. After being first introduced to the new own he showed no interest in even talking with us. Stopped for a part on a 4000 mile trip. Asked if they had a code reader to check a check engine code on my RV. Employee said "no we don't man". I purchased an OBD II code reader from them, then as I was driving out, I watched the same employee with a code reader in his hand and plugging it into a different customers car. I guess when you're the only store in the area, you can screw visitors and still have a captive...
