Just after Easter 2023 whilst staying in Williamsburg we came across a flyer for sightseeing air flight. We managed to book a flight on-line and were excited to take our 11am flight. We are 3 seniors and the cost for the flight (around $280) was for up to 3 people or a set weight. The experience in the office while waiting for the flight was interesting. Several very young men were casually chatting and told us of their flight training and hours. All commented what a great day it was to fly and that our pilot was excellent. We did feel that the air tours were just a sideline for the main business of being a flight school. The plane was a small 4 seater and the pilot, JC, lived up to his reputation. We were mesmerized for the next 45 minutes as JC pointed out the landmarks and we were able to see our resort Kings Creek, Busch Gardens, Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg and William and Mary College from the air. If you get the opportunity to do this trip DO IT! Best thing I’ve done in a long while.

Outstanding family run flight school, or just a really unique experience seeing the Williamsburg area from the air if you are visiting. They give great air tours of the Historic Triangle area! I took flight lessons from them, and passed my FAA check ride earning my private pilot’s license. They were always willing to work with my schedule and their instructor staff was excellent. All instructors were highly knowledgeable, patient, and prepare the students very well. A great local business willing to work to meet your individual needs. If you have not seen the area from the air you really are missing something.

WOW!, Much to my surprise, I was not aware I would actually be flying the plane. I have never flown a plane before. From the time I arrived until the flight was over Chris, my instructor, was thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel safe throughout the flight. Any reservations I may have had before the flight were definitely gone afterwards. If you are considering flying, I would definitely recommend Chris and his team. Im looking forward to training with Williamsburg Flight Center. Thanks Chris for a great first time out.

My daughter and I took an hour flight tour while here on vaca for our bdays (23 & 53). Service from booking thru flight was fantastic. Friendly professional people. Our pilot David was absolutely the best, knew area well and was great with my daughter who had never flown light GA and me. I recommend walking Jamestown first so you know what your seeing on your flight. Flight tours aren't bus fare cheap but this was worth every penny! If you have never flown or have and miss it it was the best for both! Ask for David, my daughter gushed that he's cute and I will say he's an excellent pilot and guide. Thank you for a professional...
