I've been taking vehicles of all sorts to Wrigley's in Lee, IL for more than a dozen years. I've never once had a bad experience - always service with a smile, everything explained, fair pricing - always!

Here's an update to my original post, and a picture of the Green Machine (my 15-year-old Ford Focus) high in the Appalachian Mountains. I took Green to Wrigley's Garage and asked Nick to tell me if I could trust the car to take me all the way to the East Coast, crossing the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains several times, going to Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Kentucky, and several states, or if I should leave the car at home and spend the money renting a car. Nick Little went over my car with a fine-tooth comb, and pronounced her fit for the mission. I've been driving for at least 6 hours every day for the past 3 weeks, up and down mountains, in and out of national parks and all sorts of other places, and all I can say is my trust in Nick Little and Wrigley's Garage is very well placed. Green has been running like a champ, with no problems whatsoever, and I can't begin to say how pleased I am at having a concern-free vacation. I have friends from Scotland with me, and they're absolutely impressed with my car AND my mechanic, and so am I! Many thanks to Nick Little and Wrigley's Garage. I'll be back again and again!

Some people tell me I'm crazy for traveling over 50 miles away for an oil change. Here's the thing. I don't trust easily, so when I find someone I DO trust, like Nick Little and his team at Wrigley's Garage in Lee, IL - I'm not giving it up. Whatever I need, Nick and the guys do a great job, and they keep my scheduled maintenance on track, too. I don't have to worry about anything where my car is concerned, and that's absolutely priceless.

So I took the Green Machine in for an oil change and new wiper blades and, as always, came away very pleased with price and service provided. The inspection provided also alerted me to an issue that will need to be addressed in the future, giving me plenty of time to budget and set up appointments and to keep me from worrying about what needed to be done. Nick and his team have a rating system numbering 1 - 5, which lets customers know how serious something is and a timeframe in which to address the issue. My budget and I love the system, and Green? She likes it, too....

Nick has maintained my cars for many years. He has kept my cars running for well over 300,000 mile on each and are still running like a champ. He has been honest and fair on all necessary repairs. This last time they found a leak in the radiator and hose, due to an impact from a chunk off a salt truck that knocked out the fog light cover. It is invaluable to me to know all who use these cars won’t be stranded somewhere with car problems. You aren’t going to find anyone better than Nick for all your automotive maintenance and repair.

Update: 1/3/2020 One of my cars started shifting rough at 373K miles and started to leak antifreeze. I dreaded the worst. I filled up the radiator and brought it to nick. Nick said there was a small leak in the radiator and said that I was overdue on both the antifreeze and transmission changeout. I put it off because I don’t use this car on a regular basis anymore. Nick remembered the history of my car and gave me a great price on a new radiator and said xmission fluid change was all I would need. Long story short: my car was running fine on the road back home for less than the price of a monthly car...

My mother in law used this garage to get an estimate for front brakes on her 2015 Nissan versa. Not only did this garage charge her for the inspection they also charged her tax on the service which is illegal. They charged $129 to get an estimate for front brakes. They told her it was so high because of the labor removing all the tires...what. Then they stated that it would be $1200 to repair the front brakes and rotors. If you replaced all the brakes and rotors on the entire car it would cost you maybe 800.00. As far as I'm concerned this was a blatant attempt to rip off and retired single woman. Absolutely disgraceful. Do not take...
