Avoid This Storage Facility – Misleading Advertising & No Customer Service
I chose this storage unit specifically because they advertised 24/7 access proximity and access are factors that impact my move from Mabank to Wilmer. What I got instead was false advertising, zero customer support, and pure frustration.
No Lock Provided: Upon arrival with my first load, no lock was provided despite their confirmation. I called their number—no answer. When I finally received a call back, the representative casually asked if I had a lock I could use. Why advertise that a lock is included if that’s not actually the case then proceed to ask if I have my own lock with me?
False Advertising for 24/7 Access: Their website clearly states that 24/7 access is available if added during signup. I signed up for it, paid for it, and expected to have access and drove an hour to unload a truck full only to be met with a locked gate with a bad code and only a chat bot to talk to and wasting valuable time, energy, and gas and had to drive an hour back to Mabank at 11pm. My husband and I had to miss work the next day to finish what could and should’ve been finished that previous night. Once I finally got a call later the rep stated they would send paperwork via email that is required to get approval for 24/7 access. I later received an email—not for access, but REFUNDING the fee without explanation. After calling to clarify, the second rep outright said 24/7 access isn’t actually available. Why offer and charge for a service that doesn’t even exist?
No Leadership, No Accountability: You can’t reach leadership, the reps don’t have answers, and corporate communication is nonexistent. Whether it’s a chatbot or a random rep, no one actually solves the problem.
If you’re looking for dependability, clear communication, and truthful advertising, look elsewhere. This business clearly cannot deliver on the services they promote, and when they get called out, they just refund you instead of honoring their own policies.
To call this a business is a scam and the owner(s) should be ashamed and disgusted within themselves so much so that they would only claim this business when legally obligated to.

Also, many other units were also broken into! We called customer service to see if they could provide us with another unit since ours was damage and they wanted to charge us full price for another one. If you’re really considering this complex please rethink it twice before...
