I've always loved Als garden in Sherwood. But unfortunately I don't feel this place is as worthy of 5 stars and I will keep going to Sherwood even though I live in Wilsonville. They want $20 for a simple small plastic watering can, that looks like something you can buy at the dollar store. And the mums I bought there less than a month ago, that are supposed to be hardy are already dead. While the flowers I bought in Sherwood are still thriving (see pictures). I read about how to care and plant them as they like shallow pots with moist soil. They looked nice for about two weeks, unfortunately I waited thinking it was a lack of sun. I called to see if I could exchange them, as they were root bound when I bought them. So they were old flowers to begin with. But they said even though they are a perennial they treat them as annuals. So they will not return them if it is over 15 days. It's not so much the money that I'm out that bothers me, but the fact that they have so much to give to charities without even thinking about that it's the customer, that will keep them in that position. If you want to be grateful and give back, then start with the customer.

They are not the experts, I went to Al’s as it was highly recommended. Sadly I was scammed. I went in April seeking a nectarine fruit tree. The tree I chose at the time had barely distinguishable small tiny fruits. My receipt and the tag all say nectarine… I came home planted the tree did my best to care for it and it’s thriving. Sadly it’s clearly a peach tree. I don’t each peaches I specifically wanted a nectarine tree. At first I genuinely, not knowing anything, assumed the fuzz was a common thing for the first stages of the fruit. After I researched, that is clearly not the case. Even the tag says “smooth skinned” I now am stuck with a peach tree when I do not like peaches. Do your own research ahead of time don't make there same mistake I made, as they are unreliable.

Henry was super helpful and patient with me. I purchased my 1st succulent. Which is a Mexican Fire Cracker. Also a Pachira aquatica aka Money Tree. I added it to my airplant sitting on the window seal. I will foraure be back to purchase more plant for the home. I'm excited to see how these will grow and flourish in my home. Thanks also Debbie at checkout and for signing me up to be a rewards member. The staff was great and no one rushed me even though I was in after hours.

It's okay. Trying to get help there is like pulling teeth and I always feel like I'm putting people out. This time of year there's not much of a selection of things other than Christmas. More than anything it's just frustrating that employees act like they're doing you a favor when you ask a simple question or need help... They stand there talking amongst themselves as though you're invisible instead of giving their attention to their customers. This morning I learned all about the fact that the guy at the registrar wanted the guy walking through the door to flock trees and how appreciative he was that the guy came in but couldn't even stop and make eye contact with me and their conversation definitely left me feeling on the outside like I didn't really...
