My parents bought a dining room table and six chairs here around 1989. It was used constantly for regular family meals, large dinner parties, potlucks, we did homework on it, did art projects on it, etc. until 2018 when they downsized and I put it in my then apartment for my family. It moved a few towns over with us to our new house. We are still eating at it. My daughter painted part of the chair back with acrylic paint in hot pink. I sanded it off and it’s basically unnoticeable. We have friends over, place huge Amazon packages on the table, eat all meals there, etc. We are just now thinking of getting a new one after one chair rung broke (our damage and mishandling 100%) and our small kitchen/dining room is basically built for a rectangular style table.

Mom and Dad are both gone now, however, they passed down all their beautiful Hitchcock Furniture to me thier only child Michael Anthony, the Table is just stunning, not one mark or nick anywhere on the piece, just perfect.
