Hot Spring — Local services in Winchester

Ok, so I have been intrigued with this hot spring for approximately 2 years now. I recently tried to go check it out, but I was unable of to get closer than about 10 miles because poor road conditions. This was the case coming from the North from Asotin, and from the south via forest roads in Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Would not recommend traveling the roads close to the spring in anything less than an beefed up off-road vehicle or an ATV/UTV, as you will likely bottom out or risk damaging tires. If that is not an option, you will likely need to hike from a forest road near the top of hells canyon, so expect a long trek with major elevation change. The view on the way to the spring are incredible, however, so if the spring somewhat nice, it should be an awesome time! If anyone actually makes it down there in the future, I would love to...
