I bought laundry machines here in 2021. The dryer stopped heating and I wanted a different washer. I called several times and sent texts- no answers or responses. I had to go there a total of 3 times to get help. What's the point of having a business number if you don't answer or reply back. I saw machines I liked and bought it. He offered next day delivery after 3pm- I said okay. The next day comes, I'm waiting and it's after 5pm- no one called me to update me. I go there and he's the complete opposite of the way he interacted with me before the purchase. He was rude and disrespectful. I told him it's after 5pm and no one's notified me about my delivery. He said the delivery guy got held up in Bethlehem but is on the road. He quickly dismisses me and says "can she have ice cream now?" I was so frustrated and said "I'm upset right now." Mind you, I live 5 minutes away which doesn't make sense to not deliver to me first. He also said that I didn't give him a specific time to deliver. And I told him that he didn't offer me the option of having a specific time. As if I was supposed to and regardless, the delivery was late. The time was after 5pm at that point. It was almost 6pm, which is their closing time. Any customer would have been concerned. He was so argumentative and careless. I had to ask him if he knew about good customer service skills and the importance of keeping customers updated and notifying them of any issues or delays. He dismissively said "a little" and he walked away from to go outside to look at a machine. I stood there with my daughter so shocked and upset. I leave, go back to my house and the delivery guy is there and tells me that the owner didn't put my number on the delivery slip. So with all this, no one took accountability and apologized or offered me any partial refund or a discount off of an appliance for the trouble, inconvenience and disrespectful...
Read moreShort Story: Spent $230 on a broken washer from A-appliance. Received no service, no repair or replacement as promised. We now have to pay for a new washer on top of the $230 we already spent for this piece of junk. Save your money and go elsewhere, this place is a scam.
Background: We purchased a used washer from Ed a little over a month ago. We had it delivered and they removed our old one. Everything seemed fine with it until we started having issues with unbalanced loads. No matter what size load we put in, the washer would literally jump off the ground. We were past the 30 day warranty of "refund or replace" the unit by 4 days so were put in contact with Mary so we could utilize their highly touted "lifetime warranty" (a $20 service/labor fee and you pay at cost parts). We were very rudely told that they are currently not doing service calls and it was up to us to either get the washer to them (we live in Athens) or we could pay them another $55 for them to pick it up to service it--something they failed to mention when we purchased it. After numerous calls to try and find a resolution, we were left hanging with no response from Mary. We listened to Ed preach in his store (and I say preach because he is also a pastor at local church) about his father's legacy of service and how he continues that tradition of good customer service. Needless to say, we did not recieve anything remotely close to...

I purchased a Speed Queen washing machine from this store on June 27 for $250 — a great deal on paper, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. Within days, the machine was blowing out chunks of grime every time it was used. I returned it on July 1 under their 30-day warranty for repairs.
I gave them a few days (understanding the July 4th holiday), but when I called to check in, I was told the machine wasn’t ready yet — fair enough. I left a voicemail on July 10 asking for an update and never got a call back. When I followed up again on July 11, they told me the machine was “ready.” Except... it wasn’t. They had sold my machine.
Instead of making it right, they offered me two older, significantly lower-quality Speed Queen models for the same price — no discount, no apology, no accountability.
I was genuinely excited about the washer I bought, and now I’m left with nothing.
Buy from them at your own risk. The warranty clearly doesn’t mean much, and customer service was disappointing to...
