Wise Acre Farms — Local services in Windsor

We visited Wise Acre Farms because I couldn't resist a fresh egg vending machine, but it is really so much more. The farmers were so friendly and answered all of our questions. We learned so much! We got to visit farm dogs, goats, and fancy silkie chickens. Geese and ducks were not far off and we ended up with 6 duck eggs to go. Their chicken flock is smaller than usual at the moment and they do sell out of eggs. Couple of tips... You can visit any time, even if eggs have run out! There are goat food dispensers if you want to feed the goats or you can bring your own goat-friendly foods to give them. The silkies are just adorable with their floppy hairdos.
