StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly Winneconne — Local services in Winneconne

We live in Winneconne and always try to shop local but we can’t do it anymore. Last week we literally bought expired beer and tried to return it 10 minutes after we got home. When we went back the store the younger guy at the front said he couldn’t give us our money back. My husband said he literally just wanted his money back so he could get a different six pack. We were having people over for a party. The young man called back to his manager 3 times and the manger kept saying no. The expired date was 3 months ago and clearly stamped on all 6 bottles. We even opened two of them to smell and taste them to see if we could just get away with keeping them and they smelled and tasted bad. Finally a different girl came up to help my husband and he returned them with her and bought something else. What kind of store manager doesn’t accept a return on an item that has been expired and was just bought minutes earlier? We’ve also gotten creepy weird vibes from the manager in the past hearing him talk to customers and other employees. Can’t do it anymore. We’ll be doing target delivery and shopping at KJ and Kwik Trip...

First encounter with store manager Chris this morning. What a rude arrogant person! I wanted to get on the store Wifi and he was helping me, but when it didnt work and all he had was a QRCode that was asking me for a credit card, he acted like I was at fault when I made a comment about what good is it if it doesn't work?... I usually shop after work and all the staff I have encountered during the past year have been friendly and offered exceptional customer service. Needless to say I will not be back. I will gladly drive to Omro or Oshkosh instead. Stoneridge managers are rude, disrespectful and downright nasty people. I will no longer spend any money at any of their stores. Typically like the pig. This time, the deli clerk held each chicken piece above the box about 6 inches and dropped each piece in. I ordered the 8 piece to go which states potato salad or wedges included. When I got to the register the potato salad was rung up separately, bringing my 8 piece to go from 12.99 to 16.12. I told the clerk and then went back took a picture of their sign and they told the clerk just take the salad off her bill. Felt like I was being treated like a “sore” customer.
