I wanted to try their meat market, the prices were a little high but it all looked good but unfortunately there wasn’t enough packages of the same meat to feed my large family so I grabbed what they had and some shrimp. Cashier was a little rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. He shamed me for my card declining and wrote down something on a notebook and said I should have told him it was EBT before scanning it. I’ve never used EBT so I didn’t know and to make someone feel bad in front of everyone and use a different machine was embarrassing. I’ve been to that store plenty of times after I moved to this area and have never had an issue with the butcher or the ladies who work the front. Read moreMost everything is great here. This is the only place in all of Southeast Texas that I know selling my favorite cereal, so kudos for that and their homemade beef sausage. The staff is generally friendly and helpful when needed. It would be nice to eventually see even more variety in the produce section, but that's not to say the selection is bad. The only bad remark I can make is the milk is frequently spoiled and apparently is a result of negligence of their grocery supplier.
