In March 2025 one of my remote control fans failed to respond to the controller. I was told by two different "experts" that it was probably the receiver and it would be more cost effective to replace the fan. I checked out the prices on new fans. Ouch!!! $196 for the same model. I saw the add for the remote control replacement on Amazon and for $28 said to myself "It's worth a try. Can be returned if it doesn't work." The instructions were great and it worked on the second try. It would have worked on the first one if I hadn't been so anxious and failed to follow correctly. There is a slight delay in reaction time but IT WORKS and saved me $168 plus the cost of removing the old and installing the new...roughly another $100. Product and customer service and definitely 5 star! After working flawlessly for almost 10 years, our ceiling fan stopped responding to the remote that came with it. Found the exact remote on Anderic website and ordered it. When it came in, it did not respond to the fan either, even though we went through all the steps listed in the instructions. Called customer service, who quickly ascertained that it was probably a problem with the receiver in the fan and not the remote. He issued a return label to send back the remote and placed an order for a universal replacement receiver and remote. My ceiling fan stopped responding to it's remote. I tried new batteries to no avail. Ordered the new remote and receiver made bu Anderic and received them in about a week. They appear to be the exact same ones that came with the fan (Lamps Plus). I installed the receiver by matching the wiring of the original - easy to do. the fan immediately began working with the remotes - both the new and the original. So now I have a spare remote. Only 3 stars because now the fan only runs at half the speed or slower than it used to run. So I have to put it on the highest setting to get the same RPM as I used to get when it was set on half speed. Anyway - half a loaf is...
