The evening cashier named OLGA is rude. She made me and My husband not feel welcomed in any way. Not even a " Welcome to the store greeting, just a side eyed rolled look". She even questioned who were were we waiting for and why were we there so long ( almost 2 hours) .... First of all, we used the restrooms then looked at the souvenirs and shirts while the lines cleared up so we could order a meal. We then ordered a meal. We waited 28 minutes for our order. I had to go check on it because my name was never called out. Our burger meat was cold and hard, onion rings were half burnt and oily, the 15 little burnt french fries were old and cold... I returned the fries and asked for a fresh order. I waited for 3 minutes and was given a half small paper bag full of fresh fries. We stayed at the very back table for about 40 minutes watching a show on our phone. We then moved to the chill room. We had been there about 15 minutes when I went to go buy lollipops by the register. While I was paying the rude cashier bluntly asked me, " are y'all waiting for someone why are y'all still here because y'all been here for a while now "...the look on her face disgusted me. I immediately answered that we were there because it was the only store close to where we were going to load up in the morning and that we were parked in the back in a semi with cattle trailer, and that We rather be inside the store relaxing and not in the truck... It disgusted me to think that I was questioned because of our ethnic race.. We weren't there to peddle, steal, or harass anyone. We're honest hard working people, just there to buy food, relax, and buy things from the store. I made atleast about 3 transactions yesterday evening and 1 more this morning. I recommend going to this store in the morning only. The morning personnel were welcoming, friendly, and had great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate. I am very pleased with the outcome. Great manager Olga has me all fixed up, and I thank you for responding so quickly. 5 stars for sure. Great store, great employees.
I just visited the store to get (2) 4 piece chicken tender meals with mashed potatoes and gravy and and extra biscuit for each meal. This meal already comes with 1 biscuit and also a 20 oz drink. I paid with my debit card not realizing I was overcharged. We didnt open our meals until we arrived home in Novice, only to find French fries instead of mashed potatoes and gravy for both meals and I really got to thinking, "that sure was more than usual to pay." So I looked back at my purchases to see when I bought from there the last time and how much I paid. Then I called the store. I spoke with a nice manager and explained my predicament. She says she will check and get back with me later today. I was pretty much overcharged 8 dollars. The store does a lot of business and I understand that, but I also expect to be charged correctly and get what I ordered without having to check every time I visit. I've never had any complaints until now, and I always give the benefit of the doubt to cashiers who may have trouble multitasking. My cashier was a nice young lady, but now that I think about it, she did ask another employee about bringing my order up. So right now 2 stars until this is resolved and I either get my money I was overcharged, or even a store credit would be okay with me. After that, I'll come back and update my stars to reflect the outcome. Thanks in advance for getting this issue fixed as I know you will. This store is always very clean and neat with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreId like to preface this review by saying that I've been going to the Crossing for the past 3 years and typically have great experiences doing so. On 12/4 I left work and wanted to treat my crew to some fried chicken because they worked hard that day and I've done so in the past at the Crossing and they loved it. When we walked in an began looking at the food the gentleman at the register (I don't know his name, middle aged white male, looked very tired) immediately began to get frustrated for reasons unknown. The guys were not rude, very polite and smiling the entire time, yet it seemed that he was just frustrated because our ordering was a little unorganized. After about 7-8 minutes of trying to order and him being frustrated he says " well maybe it would just be easier if you all lined up so you can order" in an aggravated tone at which point I said "you know what don't worry about it we're just going to eat up the road I can see you're clearly frustrated, we're not gonna do this," to which he asked if I was sure and I said absolutely. Anyone will tell you I'm the most patient person in the world, but after a long day of work, I'm not going to have my crew subjected to that level of frustration for what? Chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches? I'm sorry you were having a bad day or were frustrated, but communication goes a long way here. I just hope this gentleman understands there's a lot of people working 12+ hours and we love stopping there because we are usually greeted with smiles and kindness, and that goes a long way...
