Awesome place! We rented bikes and rode on the 400 and Hillsboro Trails. While riding we saw several deer , ducks , sandhill cranes, and a snapping turtle laying eggs! The 400 Trail has several interesting bridges that cross the Baraboo River. We planned to also rent Kayaks to canoe the Baraboo River, but the weather was questionable so we opted not to. The owner was very accommodating. We had a picnic at the facility at a cute table outside, however there are lots of options for places to eat right on the street where Beyond Boundaries is located. Read moreMe and my family were told there where 5 spots we would have to get out due to fallen trees. There was 13. We are all COVERED in scrapes and bruises. I have a giant gash in the back of my leg. Hopfully it doesn’t get infected. Having to lug the kayack onto shore after was terrible. It’s a very steep and very muddy path. We all kept falling due to pulling the kayack up with us. I do not recommend for anyone. He did offer to take us to the lake for ONE hour.
