The associate was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and my brother who has autism. I am my brothers personal care assistant which means I help him with everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning etc... During A long day of shopping we stoped at the Jerrys liquor store to purchase a case of beer for our dad, my dad always buys his own beer but with my brother being 24 and already out shopping he sent us to grab it. When we walked into the store and I assisted my brother with special needs showing him what we where going to buy. Walking up to the counter the clerk asked for both of our ID's and explained to him that I am not of age and I am A PCA for my brother who is purchasing the beer for our dad. The clerk was very rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful and discriminating against my brother who has special needs. He wouldn’t let my brother purchase the beer after checking his ID because I was in there with him even though my dad is able to purchase the same case of beer with me standing next to him. Growing up with a autistic brother ive never felt so disrespected and targeted due to his disability than I did today at the jerrys liquor store. And from a company that employs people with disabilities im shocked your employees are discriminating against my brother with special needs There are people in this world who need assistance in everyday activities maybe learn that you have it pretty good if you can do everyday activities...
