Wanted to try their pre-made meals. Bought a 'lemon chicken' and 'chicken enchiladas' frozen. Both at $20.00 an entree - not cheap.

Lemon chicken: no lemon flavor AT ALL. Rice and carrots cooked in chicken stock and pieces of over-cooked, hard as a rock, pieces of chicken (that had been poached or something beyond all redemption). Under seasoned. My husband and I had a portion of it - neither of it finished that portion - and threw the rest away. Live and learn.

Chicken Enchiladas: Under seasoned. Some kind of yellow cheese on the top - very surprised at that - yellow cheese typically has articial coloring - I never use it. Baked very watery. Chicken filling texture was okay - but it had no taste! We 'doctored' up the leftovers with sour cream, salsa, fresh lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes - which, then, was about all you could taste!

I had bought some of their frozen whole wheat cinnamon rolls (take and bake) at Ranch Foods Direct and while they looked good - they did not have a lot of flavor, either. The directions called for thawing and rising over-night and then baking. The direction did not say to wait about 2 minutes and turn the things out or they would be glued into the pan (even though liberally greased before thawing/rising).

Would not recommend this to anyone looking for alternatives to no-prep, quick, tasty meals. Won't be going back there again.

Nice idea - not...

I visited for the first time yesterday. What an incredible resource for home cooked meals on the go. First I was greeted by Lisa who gave me a tour of the store. It was clean and neat.

I love the fact that they have choices for 2,4,8 (I think 8) in amounts.

This is real homemade food!!

Baked the lasagna (noted for 2 but we will get 4 meals out of it)) and my husband loved it! The house smelled delicious as it cooked.

Next I baked 4 chocolate chip cookies which my husband also LOVED (and he is a self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookie expert).

I highly recommend this local business. I need both convenience and quality and Taste of Life goes above and beyond.

This place is amazing. My mom has been picking up some of their premade meals for me and bringing them up to me to help make meals easier during my postpartum. I am gluten and dairy free and I have loved every single thing. I’ve tried from them so far. the lemon poppyseed bread is divine. Really love their gluten-free sandwich bread as well. The chicken pot pie is incredible! Excited to try the shepherds pie next, the white chili, chicken, and the fajita meat. Oh and don’t let me forget to mention the cabbage roll in a bowl 🤩🤩 there isn’t one thing I’ve tried that I haven’t...
