Nice people and easy to work with, but I’m not completely satisfied with my current purchase.

We ran into this store at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden show this last year. We were expecting a baby and they had an awesome glider. I put in the order for it, and picked it up a couple months later. It sat for awhile unused until the baby was born. Now it gets light use when we are rocking the baby to sleep. When the baby was about 1 month old the rocker developed a really loud popping sound. The baby is now 3 months old, and the glider is mostly unused again because of the popping noise. It’s obviously not the best for getting a tired baby to sleep.

I’m very picky with rocking furniture because the creaks and pops drive me nuts. So, I thought this chair (about $1000) would be of high enough quality that it would last for more than a month of use before any sounds developed. This was obviously not the case.

I have not gotten back in touch with Country Hill, but plan to do so soon. It’s just about a 2 hr drive each way, and not an easy trip (especially if it takes 2 trips to get fixed) with a new baby.

EVERY single piece of QUALITY furniture in my home came from Country Hill. All custom ordered. Great customer service and awesome sales staff to work with that didn’t break the bank. Beds for all of my kids they cannot wear out, a dresser and nightstand later to match for my daughter, I drew out on paper a wardrobe to store sheets blankets and clothing in with extra deep drawers on the bottom and cabinet doors on top and they built it to match my bedroom suite they made as well a few years prior. They keep record of your purchases so there was no figuring out what stain we picked or knobs and drawer pulls. These craftsman know what they are doing! Give them a try it’s worth the drive!! The don’t just craft hardwood furniture, they design heirloom pieces that will be passed on to my kids...

Excellent place to shop for indoor an outdoor furniture. We have bought end tables, dining table and chairs, bedroom furniture, poly furniture for outside (swings, outdoor high top table and chairs). My parents have bought even more from here. They have a wide variety of merchandise on the floor to look at from desks, bedroom furniture, cribs, dining room furniture, end tables/coffee tables, trunks, and more. For outdoor furniture they have swingsets, poly furniture (tables, chairs, rocking chairs, etc). Prices are excellent. Best in the area, in my opinion. They will do their best to help make custom orders (within reason). We love to shop here. The owner (Eli) is helpful...
