I bet it's a great computer repair place!
Unfortunately we won't get to find out. My husband brought our computer there this evening. The door was locked so he called the number. The man was very curt with him and said he was out walking his dog, that he would be back in 10 or 15 minutes.
A half an hour later, my husband gave up and came home.
Oh well. There's a great place on Park Ave that we will visit tomorrow.
Edit: the owner was curt with my husband, knew he had a customer waiting and stopped and chatted with a friend anyway.
Then today, he called my husband and asked him to ask me to take down this review.
If you don't want bad reviews, don't make any of the decisions that led to this one! Hope this helps.
PS Hamilton Computer Repairs on Park Ave is outstanding. Polite, professional, and prompt. Check them out! 😃
PPS your apology didn't fall on deaf ears. I just don't accept it. You are rude and unprofessional, and your follow-up comments and call to my husband are disturbing.
At first I just thought you ran your business horribly but now I think you might actually be unstable.
Probably best to give computer hospital in Tatnuck Square a wide berth.
Instead of keeping this back and forth going, you should probably dedicate more energy to focusing on your...
Read moreThis morning my CPU fan started to make a not so nice noise and stopped. I shut the computer down and had a spare fan to swap it out. Well, long story short, I did used to build computers waaaaay back and figured it was an easy swap. I ended up pulling the CPU off the board, no biggie, but my now shaky hands and the eyes that don't see as well. I turn the computer on and I have nothing on the screen. In a panic, I remembered reading about Noel and the Computer Hospital in Tatnuck. I immediately called in a panic. A very calm Noel told me to bring it in so he could check it out. I told him it was older and I wouldn't be against buying a new computer. I brought it down, and he checked it out. Sure enough, I bent a pin on the CPU. The fan that was on it was inadequate. He checked out my graphics card too. He straightened out the pin put a new fan on the CPU and fired it up and (with a sigh that could be heard a mile away), it booted up and I have my computer back. I asked what I owed him and was amazed at how reasonable he was considering we were there close to an hour. I gave him more than he was asking. We'll call it a tip. Honestly, if someone says "I tried fixing it", you should be charged a surcharge LOL I won't bring my computer...
Read moreBest computer service I've ever tried! I had experiences over the years with services that take a week to diagnose your problem and then propose to change half of the components, just to cover their back. My computer died on July 3rd, at night (Wednesday). On July 4th, with no hope of finding anything open, called the Computer Hospital and Noel was there, although just to pick up a package. Hearing that it I needed my computer for work the following Monday he waited for me to at his shop to see the computer. He assessed the problem right away and ordered a new motherboard that would come in on Saturday. Since I was afraid the part would come in too late during Saturday, I proposed that maybe I paid for his diagnosis and I ordered the motherboard myself, so that, worst case scenario, I could change it myself on Sunday. Noel told me not to worry, that on Saturday he would finish work at 6pm or when my computer was done, whichever was the latest. Who does that? So nice. By Saturday at 2pm my computer was up and running.
To summarize: Computer Hospital is a competent, no-nonsense, affordable service with a genuine care for customers that can't be found anywhere anymore nowadays.
Thank you...
