Today, (October 2nd, 2025), my husband, our toddler, and I visited Lendt’s pumpkin patch farm. The farm itself is quite large and a visual delight, earning it a solid 4 stars for its beauty, adorable photo ops, decorative Halloween art, and the serene autumn atmosphere it provides. They offer an incredible variety including pumpkins of all colors, painted pumpkins, giant pumpkins, gourds, corn and more!
However, our experience was slightly marred by an interaction (or lack thereof) at the entrance. There was only one staff member visible at the main parking entrance, an older lady working at the concession. She was very friendly, greeting the families before and after us with warmth and even engaging in some light conversation with them. Unfortunately, when we walked past her and into the farm area, we were completely ignored. There were times when we were literally the only family near this woman and her concession, (we were taking some photos by the bales of straw and corn - which provided a cool rustic backdrop for family photos I will say!) however, being by her area for so long, just made her oversight even more noticeable. It was Thursday, and barely any people also.
As newcomers to Minnesota, we already feel like outsiders, and this small oversight amplified that feeling. We understand that these things can happen unintentionally, but a simple greeting would have gone a long way in making us feel more included.
I want to stress that this review isn't meant to be overly critical; the farm is truly beautiful, and I would still recommend it. My aim here is to provide feedback in hopes that all visitors, especially those who might feel like outsiders, can experience the same level of warmth and welcome that...
Read moreWe go here pretty often for pumpkins we like that it's free to get in. Most places up here is 17 dollars perversion just to walk in the door..... to me that's insane. There's a lot of fun games and playground ds and corn pit for the kids. Hayrides both just for pumpkin and an educational one. Thw educational one you look at the bee hives and corn and hear a little tip bit about them. This year they qere hit hard by the drought and the smoke so they had a noticeable low inventory and even had to buy pumpkins from elsewhere I guess. It was still fun and they were all so nice there. Also I like that they let the public know that pumpkins didn't do so hot this year. I bet that saved a lot of time for people if they were going to drive far so they didn't have to risk it. They have fun popcorn ears for sale if you want to pop your popcorn right from the ear which is fun too. And like I said before.... lots of fun cut outs and stuff to take...
Read moreOur favorite pumpkin patch under the sun. We'd come here long before we moved into the community. They are free to get into and offer SO MANY things for the kids to do. They have a giant play ground, tons of photo props, a corn pit (Rona closed that one this season), tractor rides (small fee), food stand on weekends, and the patch. For only $5 you can walk their massive patch (free wagons to pull) and pick the biggest pumpkin you want. If it's in the patch it's $5. No hidden fees, no strings. They also have more fun fall decor and plants to purchase when checking out. they are cash/check only but do have an ATM on site. You can't go wrong for fall family fun here. It is a staple in our family and a tradition with our kiddos. Take a right out of their lot and hit up Sunrise apple orchard a hop away for even more family fun, but that's...
