Seems like it would be a great time, first time coming but been here since 745 after about an hour of light rain at 5. Thought we were late but they were still driving their cars around the teach to get traction. So we spent $80 in the march area for two hoodies, $30 to in, and have been sitting out here in 50 degree weather for two hours after messaging the Facebook page what time they anticipate green flags to drop but no response, all we have seen is the hot laps, then they announce they are going to start qualifying at 9:30. I understand competitiveness and that qualifying has to happen, but I think they should do a better job with updating the Facebook on anticipated race start time. We are out of here not going to wait another hour for races to begin. If they would have put a Facebook post out saying estimate time for hot laps 830 and estimated race start time 10 I would have stayed home and got here closer to 10 but after an hour drive and $115 spent hope you appreciated the donation because definitely didn't get money's worth tonight. We didn't come to watch qualifying and practice laps, need...
Read moreBeen coming here on and off for 15 years. Rare to find a half mile high banked track these days. Staff here is friendly, inexpensive admission and plenty of parking. Track prep is usually on point but hot laps never start on time. Tons of seating options! Rarely is it ever dusty/dirty! A large variety of food options or bring a cooler. This track is highly susceptible to rain. They fall victim to what too many tracks do: Overbook divisions. 9 divisions with several classes with only 3 cars isn't needed. The guy interviewing the driver apparently was plucked at random from a service station. Theres always severak unsupervised kids causing issues in the lower grandstands. They do get several competitive divisions and some special events but rarely any BIG shows like WOO, HL, Lucas etc... it's a track ill come to occasionally but overall I feel some neighboring tracks do a...
Read moreWe stayed here in a 46 foot 25,000 lb fifth wheel. The road in was a piece of cake, the hill is not steep but as mentioned due to the gravel keep a little momentum as you climb the hill. Plenty of space and we were about to park in a fairly level location and didn’t even need to disconnect and level the RV. The place is awesome. Lori met us and made us feel at home immediately . She is so gracious and kind. What a wonderful lady. That evening Fred came by and took us in a tour of the facility. He is a great guy, funny and welcoming. He provided the history behind the place. Clearly cares about all his guests. So thankful he has opened this place up to folks like us. We will definitely be back anytime we come this way. Fred has new...
